3 - Night Stopover
Highly professional, well-trained staff will ensure your travel needs are attended to throughout your stay in Dubai. Transfers to and from the airport, a private city tour and a 4x4 desert safari are all included to make your stopover a perfect introduction to this enchanting city.
Day 1
You will be met at Dubai International Airport, mere minutes from downtown, and transferred to your hotel for the next three nights. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Your accommodation is fully flexible, with a choice between several hotels.
Day 2
Begin the day with a scrumptious breakfast at your hotel, followed by a half-day private city tour of Dubai, including lunch and your own guide. A fascinating historical excursion, the route takes you to the magnificent Jumeirah mosque, and past modern palaces sprawled along the Gulf coast. In Bastakia you stop for a while to admire the old wind-tower houses built by wealthy merchants. Close by stands the 150-year old Al Fahidi Fort. Here, the Dubai Museum records the city’s past as an important pearl-diving and trading centre. You continue your journey by Abra – the local water taxis. As you cross the Creek, you can see the modern metropolis with its splendid architecture dwarfing the bustling alleys of your final destination, the Gold and Spice Souqs. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Day 3
The morning is at your leisure, followed by a half day Desert Safari, an evening out in the mysterious desert (includes dinner). Leaving behind the bustle of the city in the afternoon, safari guides will transport you, by four-wheel drive vehicles, on a thrilling journey over rolling dunes through the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve and deep into the heart of the desert. En route, you will stop to see camels resting at their camp, and then, from the crest of a high dune, watch the sun set as it casts its orange glow over the vast expanse of rippling sand all around you. Like a shimmering mirage in the distance, you will see the flickering lights of your camp where a traditional Arabian welcome awaits you. The encampment conjures up images from Arabian Nights as you relax on comfortable low cushions in Bedu tents. Quench your thirst, have your hands painted with intricate henna designs, experience a short camel ride, or just enjoy the aromatic shisha. A feast of grilled meats, fresh salads and delectable Arab sweets is served under a galaxy of stars. As you eat, you will be entertained by a bewitching belly dancer swaying to the haunting strains of Arabian music. Return back to hotel, where you can enjoy your final night in Dubai.
Day 4
Check-out and transfer to the airport for your flight home.
