Lemuria Resort
Lemuria is a new 5-star resort with its golf course situated on the northwest coast of Praslin. The hotel has 88 suites (8 Senior suites and 80 Junior suites) organized along the seaside and spread over 90 hectares of land. The main building lies on the slopes of a hill, overlooking the beaches of Anse Kerland and the grennery. A unique and striking use of natural materials, of wood and stone, responds sympathetically with the light and water. All the suites are facing the lagoon. Each room features air-conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar, room safe, hairdryer, TV, VCD, stereo compact disc and cassette player, telephone/answering machine, fully equipped bathroom with bath and separate shower, terrace or balcony. The swimming pool has three levels, which flow down, from the building to the sea. Three restaurants (lunch and dinner are served "A LA Carte" - guests will be charged by the hotel locally), four bars (lounge, seaside, Club House), 2 boutiques, meeting room, turtle club for children at extra cost and a library. The fitness centre is free for hotel guests and includes a fully equipped gymnasium, jacuzzi, sauna, steam baths, and for an extra charge activities include a massage, body care, beautician and spa and hairdresser. Free watersports offered at the hotel include windsurfers, pedalos, snorkeling, sailing, catamarans, kyaks, and two floodlit tennis courts. Payable activities include scuba diving school (Padi), deep sea fishing, watersports lessons, and an 18 hole Golf Course also at an extra cost.
