Ancient Egypt and Nile Splendours
For many, the scope of Egypt's history is difficult to comprehend. Its history spans some five millenniums, and encompasses the origin of civilization, the rise of the Greeks and Romans, the establishment of the Jewish, Christian and Islamic religions. Visit the spectacular wonders of the ancient world. Experience the meeting point of Arab culture with Nubia and Black Africa.
"We have finally sealed our fate as a proud democratic country. I can say, without the slightest
of doubt, that after the revolution, the whole population finally feels that it is connected to our beloved homeland. As you already know, tourism makes up a good percentage of our national income. In saying so, tourism in Egypt will now have a different taste since everyone working in the tourism business now views his job as a national duty, making the tourists a number one priority in our country." - Mohamed Mekkawi, Egyptologist Guide.

15 Day Nile, Felucca & Red Sea
From the archaeological wonders of Ancient Egypt to a relaxing beach holiday, this tour encompasses everything you could want in an Egyptian vacation.
Days 1 to 3 - Cairo, Giza and Saqqara Pyramids Tour
Enjoy a day at leisure in Cairo and the following day explore the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx and Djoser's Step Pyramid (the oldest in Egypt) at Saqqara. The next day is also free to explore the sights of Cairo, such as the famous Egyptian Museum, the architectural marvel of Muhammad Ali Mosque, or the exotic alleyways of the Khan el-Khalili bazaar, before we take an overnight train to Aswan.
Days 4 to 6 - Aswan & Felucca Cruise
Aswan is Egypt’s most southerly city situated on the banks of the Nile at the northern end of Lake Nasser (created after the building of the High Dam). We tour the Temple of Philae, a complex dedicated to Isis and reclaimed from the rising waters of Lake Nasser, which we reach by boat. We will also stop to visit the Aswan Dam and you have the option of visiting Abu Simbel, the celebrated temples of Ramses II which were painstakingly moved from the flood-zone to higher ground by an international team of archaeologists, a short 15 minute flight away. On the afternoon of Day 5 we join our two-night cruise on the Nile in traditional Feluccas.
Days 7 to 9 - Luxor, East and West Bank tours, Cairo
We tour Kom Ombo Temple before driving to Luxor via Edfu Temple. Luxor is a major centre for antiquities - The Valley of the Kings, the Colossi of Memnon, Queen Hatshepsut's temple, and the magnificent Karnak, among others. An overnight train returns us to Cairo for a free day in the metropolitan capital.
Days 10 to 15 - Dahab
We travel into Sinai to Dahab and enjoy it's bohemian vibe. Snorkel the famous Blue Hole and take a camel ride at sunset. There's also plenty of time for optional activities, including diving the crystal-clear Red Sea waters or ascending the biblical Mt. Sinai. We return to Cairo for our final night before our tour, after breakfast, ends.
